  • Q. What is special about the Bradshaw Dowdle Basketball Camp compared to other basketball camps?
  • A. The Bradshaw & Dowdle Basketball Camp is both educational and fun, offering fundamental basketball skills and game strategies for both the beginner and advanced player. Our camp will also include a great staff and also include special guests appearances from current and former pro and collegiate athletes.


  • Q. Who are these camps for?
  • A. For boys, grades 1-8, who enjoy basketball and want to become the best player that they can be.


  • Q. What will my child learn or gain from attending this camp?
  • A. He will develop an understanding of the fundamental basketball skills and game strategies, that they will be able to take with them well after the camp. We will teach and demonstrate fun, but challenging basketball drills for each athlete to help develop their basketball game.


  • Q. What do the kids need to bring to camp?
  • A. Your child will need to bring proper shoes and apparel. Shorts and t-shirts are appropriate. You will want to provide them with a sack lunch each day, and an autograph marker for special guest appearances. We will provide all drinks for our campers.


  • Q. Are these overnight camps?
  • A. Our camp takes place during the day only, during weekdays. In all cases, you will need to make arrangements to drop off and pick up your child each day.


  • Q. How do you pick how they play with?
  • A. Campers will be separated by age groups. We will create an atmosphere that is fun, but challenging for each individual camper.


  • Q. Will each student camper get individual time with the coaches?
  • A. This is one of the aspects that separates the Bradshaw & Dowdle Basketball Camp from other camps. With such a low coach to player ratio, our counselors are able to provide individual attention to our campers. We will have coaches who are specialized in all areas of basketball, from inside post and perimeter play, to defense and rebounding.


  • Q. What qualifications and experience do Bradshaw Dowdle Basketball Camp coaches and counselors have?
  • A. All of our counselors have either playing or coaching experience at the high school, AAU, collegiate, or professional level. Our goal as a camp staff is to create an exciting an environment to teach basketball and develop our athletes.


  • Q. Will my child be safe at Bradshaw Dowdle Basketball Camp?
